Ministerial Decree No. 328 of 2021
Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation
Having reviewed Law No. 123 of 1983 on Aquatic Resources Cooperatives and its amendments and executive regulations;
And Law No. 124 of 1983 concerning fishing and aquatic life and the regulation of fish farms and its executive regulations;
And Presidential Decree No. 190 of 1983 establishing the General Authority for Fish Resources Development;
And Presidential Decree No. 470 of 1993 establishing the Cooperative Insurance Fund for Fishing Vessels for Aquatic Resources Cooperative Societies and their members;
And Ministerial Decree No. 1030 of 2003 issuing the internal regulations of the Cooperative Insurance Fund for Fishing Vessels for Aquatic Resources Cooperative Societies and their members;
And Ministerial Decree No. 294 of 2016 forming the Management Committee of the Cooperative Insurance Fund for Mechanized Fishing Vessels for Cooperative Societies and their members;
And the memorandum of the General Authority for Fish Resources Development attached to the letter No. 1877 dated 11/3/2021
Based on the opinion of the Legal Advisor to the Ministry of Agriculture and Land Reclamation, No. 2424 dated 22/2/2021, and on the letter from the General Authority for Fish Resources Development, No. 3364 dated 11/3/2021,
Based on the opinion of the Legal Advisor, No. 4076 dated 24/3/2021,
Based on the letter from the General Authority for Fish Resources Development dated 11/7/2021,
Based on the memorandum of the Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation for Animal, Fish, and Poultry Resources, dated 27/7/2021,
It is hereby decided:
Article 1:
The formation of the Management Committee for the Cooperative Insurance Fund for Mechanized Fishing Vessels of Cooperative Societies, chaired by Mr. Ramadan Mahmoud Mohamed Abdo, President of the Cooperative Union for Aquatic Resources, and with the following members:
1- Mr. Awad Mohamed Marzouk, Treasurer and Committee Member
2- Mr. Mohamed Saad Maylo, Fund Secretary
3- Mr. Ashraf Ali Zureik, Fund Management Committee Member
4- Mr. Magdy Abdullah Abdullah Marai, Fund Management Committee Member
5- Engineer Salah Sedky Barai, Fund Technical Expert and Fund Management Committee Member
6- Engineer Atef Salah Megahed, Fund Management Committee Member, Director General of Fisheries at the Lakes and Fish Resources Protection and Development Authority
Article 2:
The term of this committee is five Years commencing from the date of issuance of this decision.
Article 3:
The committee shall select from among its members a secretary and a treasurer.
Article 4:
All relevant authorities shall implement this decision, which shall be effective from the date of its issuance.
